The Commission is responsible for reviewing the Master Plans for the parks and making necessary recommendations to the Town Council. They operate in accordance with established rules and procedures. The Park and Recreation Commission chairperson and vice chairperson are elected annually by the Commission at their March or April meeting.
Volunteer to Serve on the Park and Recreation Commission
There is currently one opening on the Park and Recreation Commission and the Town is looking for volunteers to apply. If you are interested in the Town’s parks, trail network, open space, or recreation programming to serve residents of all ages, please click on the Park and Recreation Commission Application. Complete the application and questionnaire, save to your computer, and submit along with your letter of interest and resume to the Town Clerk’s office, 329 Rheem Boulevard, or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
