Art in Public Spaces Committee
The Art in Public Spaces Committee implements a Public Art Policy, which includes reviewing and recommending the selection and acceptance of loaned or donated artwork to the Town Council, and reviewing and making recommendation to the Town Council on the deaccession or removal of artwork.
Audit & Finance Committee
The Audit and Finance Committee assists the Town Council in fulfilling its responsibilities as to accounting policies and reporting practices of the Town and sufficiency of auditing relative thereto.
Design Review Board
The Design Review Board is responsible for reviewing, evaluating and deciding applications for design review for new buildings, illuminated signs, projects requiring an exception to the Design Guidelines and projects in a scenic corridor in accordance with the Town's design guidelines and regulations.
Geologic Hazard Assessment District
Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee
The Local Sales Tax Oversight Committee is charged with the annual review and report to the Town Council on the revenue and expenditures of the Local Sales Tax.
Moraga Youth Involvement Committee
The Moraga Youth Involvement Committee provides youth with opportunities for civic involvement, implements and assists in activities and services in the community and makes appropriate recommendations to the Town Council on youth related issues.
Park & Recreation Commission
The Parks and Recreation Commission is responsible for reviewing the Master Plans for the parks and making necessary recommendations to the Town Council.
Planning Commission/Design Review Board
The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing, evaluating and deciding land use applications in accordance with the Town's policies and regulations. It also serves as the Town's Design Review Board.

This page provides a brief description of how interested residents can apply to serve on a Town of Moraga committee or commission.
The Zoning Administrator shall hear and decide each application for variance permit and each application for a land use permit unless s/he determines that, because of the probable controversial nature of the proposal or because of its significance to the town, the planning commission should hear and decide the application.
