Steve and wife Peggy have called Moraga home since 1987. Daughters, Sarah and Leanne, attended and graduated from Moraga’s excellent K-12 schools. Steve and Peggy have been active in the community, both through participating and volunteering in a broad range of school, scout, sports and other town activities.
During Steve’s 33-year career with Chevron, he successfully handled a wide range of challenging and complex assignments. They included technical, project management, and later in his career, organization development (including mentoring). He trained in making quality decisions, he practiced making quality decisions, and then he built organization competency in decision making, including a five-year worldwide leadership position.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Seton Hall University. He is a retired licensed Mechanical Engineer and was a Certified Project Management Professional.
