The Town of Moraga is proud to present Remote Learning, Enrichment, & Childcare (REC) Club for TK - 8th grade. Please reference REC Club Information, Policies, and Practices for detailed information from Parks and Recreation staff.

$1,350 billed monthly; Sibling discounted rate of $1,150 for each additional child
A non-refundable fee of $675 will be due within 48 hours of lottery notification to secure your spot; this will also serve as the payment for August. The initial payment for each additional sibling is $575.
The program is available for children of essential workers who reside in the Town of Moraga. Completed applications will be reviewed and entered into a lottery for available spaces in the program.
If you do not meet these criteria you may still submit an application for consideration if spaces are still available.
If spaces in the program are not currently available, you will receive a waiting list position number from a secondary lottery. Two waiting lists will be created; a resident waiting list (priority) and a non-resident list. Applications received after the initial application period will be added to the appropriate waiting list on a first come, first serve basis. Space in this program is limited. It is our hope to expand the number of program cohorts we can accommodate as we hire additional staff.

Remote/Distance Learning Support
With the movement to distance learning, REC Club is here to support families. Town staff will proctor students remote learning, provide technical assistance, and monitor completion of work. Children will need to bring their device and school work to the program. Town staff will coordinate with families on schoolwork requirements.
Throughout the day, between school work and once school work is complete, kids will get to enjoy arts & crafts, science, sports, group games, and take advantage of the wonderful outdoor space at the Hacienda de las Flores.
Will be available from 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, following the Moraga School District calendar. Drop off can occur anytime after 8:20am. Each day kids will get school work done, be safe and HAVE FUN!
The program is located at the Hacienda de las Flores (2100 Donald Drive). Children will be assigned a home room that will host their stable group for a month at a time. Groups will not mix and will be divided by general age groups.
This program will follow social distancing, sanitation, and hygiene practices specified by Contra Costa Health Services and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Please reference REC Club Information, Policies, and Practices to read the most current program information from Parks and Recreation staff.
REC Club will stay active during the distance learning and hybrid learning models. Participants in REC Club will receive priority registration for program extensions and changes in programming.
