The purpose of the Moraga Youth Involvement Committee (MYIC) is to provide youth with opportunities for civic involvement, to implement /assist in activities and services in the community and to make appropriate recommendations to the Town Council on youth related issues.
Specifically, the committee shall:
Hold Forums/ workshops, take surveys, gather concerns and maintain communication with Moraga’s youth population.
Work cooperatively with other communities on youth activities.
Provide youth with opportunities for community service.
MYIC is actively involved with many community service/aid projects that change yearly.
The application period for the 2019 to 2020 term of the Moraga Youth Involvement Committee (MYIC) is closed. Applications for the 2020 to 2021 term will be available in early August 2020.
