Town Receives Clean Financial Audit

On February 27, the Town Council received and filed the Audited Financial Statements for the most recently completed fiscal year 2011/12. Maze & Associates served as the Town’s independent auditor as the result of an open Request For Proposal process last year. The audit process is iterative and took more than six months to complete. Maze & Associates opined that the Town’s financial statements are clean and conform to generally accepted accounting principles. The audit showed that the Town’s reserves stand at 43.5% of the General Fund operating expenditures.
