Town Hall Remodel on Schedule and Under Budget

On July 11 the Town Council directed staff to begin a minor remodel of the Town offices at 329 Rheem Boulevard in order to move Finance staff out of the Hacienda and convert space at 331 Rheem Boulevard into a community meeting room and Field Operations Center (FOC). The project has been designed with minimal changes to existing offices, consisting mostly of some additional doors, paint, and carpeting. The project is within budget and on schedule to be completed this year. The minor construction work at 329 Rheem Boulevard is currently out to bid and will begin soon. Everyone, except Parks and Recreation staff, will be relocating their workspaces later this fall. Town Council meetings are expected to be held in the community meeting room beginning in January, 2013.
