PG&E Vault Update
At its June 11 meeting, the Design Review Board reviewed and approved landscaping plans to screen newly-installed PG&E gas vaults on St. Mary’s Road adjacent to the East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) parking lot. The DRB required PG&E to install a service road, hydroseed and install shrubbery, paint the vent pipes dark green, and plant two redwood trees to naturalize the appearance on the scenic corridor.
