PG&E Plans to Perform Tree Maintenance in High Fire Danger Area of Moraga

PG&E will begin its Electric Overhead Vegetation Management Program (not to be confused with the Pipeline Pathways Project) to keep safe distances from its transmission lines over the next three months. PG&E plans to removeup to 180 trees throughout Moraga, mostly within the Scofield area since they are concerned about high fire danger in the general vicinity. The Town has been told that PG&E will delay major tree removals until the neighbors are better informed about their plans. If you have any questions, contact PG&E’s Vegetation Program Manager, April Kennedy at (209) 662-0082.
