Joint Facilities Planning Committee Update

The newly-formed Joint Facilities Planning Subcommittee met on February 10. This subcommittee, consisting of representatives from the Town, Moraga School District, Saint Mary’s College and Campolindo High School, is tasked with inventorying existing resources and recommending ways to partner through joint use agreements and ways to improve and enhance sports fields/facilities within the Town of Moraga. The inventorying of existing fields was started and the subcommittee discussed overall scope; shared joint use agreements; potential field improvements; and a concept of the Town of Moraga Park and Recreation Master Plan-recommended multi-generational community center. Future meetings will be on the first Monday of each month at the Hacienda de las Flores from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The public is encouraged to attend.
