Contra Costa County Clerk REcorder Applicant Process

Contra Costa County is recruiting for the County Clerk-Recorder position per State law which provides for the Board of Supervisors to appoint an individual for the remainder of the recently retired Clerk-Recorder’s term that will expire January 2, 2023. The minimum qualifications are that the person must be 18 years of age, a citizen of California, and a resident and registered voter of this County upon appointment. The Board has adopted a transparent process and opened the application period immediately. Following the close of the application period on December 16 at 5:00 pm, the Board will review all applications in open session on January 14, 2020 and select candidates to interview by the Board on January 21, 2020.
