Audit and Finance Committee Meeting - Tuesday, September 18, 2012

On September 18, the Audit and Finance Committee will be reviewing the Town’s year-end revenue and expenditure report for the fiscal year that ended on June 30. The Town ended the year with a surplus of just over $100,000, which is added to the General Fund reserve. Also on the agenda are the results of the mid-year visit from the independent auditors, Maze & Associates. Although the auditors had no material findings, the Committee will discuss a few recommendations on how to improve the Town’s internal controls. The public is invited to attend the meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Garden Conference Room at the Hacienda de las Flores.
