All-Access Playground Update - October 13, 2017

Work on the project is currently proceeding after repeated delays caused by the contractor. On September 14, the Town issued a notice of default to the contractor indicating that the contractor may be terminated if unable to deliver the project on schedule and that the Town intends to exercise all available remedies under the contract. Town staff has used every available opportunity to try to resolve the outstanding issues with the contractor and to deliver the project to the public in a timely manner. Staff continues to work to ensure the project will meet all appropriate standards.
