2014 Pavement Repair Project

On July 16, Council awarded a construction contract to Bay Cities & Grading to pave 28 street segments rated in “Poor” condition with rubberized or conventional overlays. Construction is anticipated to start early August and end late October, assuming ideal construction conditions. A complete list of street segments, limits, and treatment types can be found at 2014 Pavement Repair Project. Volunteers have already started a door-to-door educational campaign for those living on streets to be repaved. On Thursday, July 24, two public outreach Town Hall meetings (3:30 pm and 6:00 pm) will be held at the La Sala building of the Hacienda de las Flores. The meetings will provide another opportunity for the public to learn more about the project before construction begins.
