Town Of Moraga

2013 Pavement Repair Project Update

The 2013 Pavement Repair Project funded by the Measure K sales tax is moving forward rapidly for pavement construction and road repair. To that end, a Rubberized Asphalt Grant was awarded to the Town by CalRecycle to leverage our local sales tax funds; a Construction Management and Inspection Services contract has been approved by Town Council; and a street-cut moratorium ordinance will be coming to the Council to protect newly paved streets. Nearly half of all residential streets are scheduled for repair and are being finalized during the design phase, with construction expected to start in July. Without the support of the vast majority of Moraga voters, we could not be reinvesting in our streets. Don’t forget that what you spend in Moraga, stays in Moraga. Shop Moraga First!
