Park Rentals and Trail Info
Park area and picnic rentals are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. To reserve a park area, click on the corresponding reservation form, complete and send it in via e-mail, fax or U.S. mail with payment. Park area and picnic rentals will not be reserved until you receive confirmation and receipt from Parks and Recreation staff. It is strongly suggested you inquire for date availability prior to starting any applications.
The park offers picnic areas, skate park, tot lot, youth playground, swings, a spray feature, sand volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball, and half court basketball, along with lots of room to relax under shade trees. The reserved group picnic area, located near the band shell is available for rent and accommodates up to 85 persons.
Commons Park Water Feature
Due to water conservation efforts, the water spray feature is operating with limited hours: 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Rancho Laguna Park
This park is set in the midst of rolling hills at the outskirts of town and has tot lots, swings, picnic areas, an amphitheater and large lawn all set among the trees. There is a group picnic area which accommodates 200 persons available for rent. Parking is limited. Call for availability.

Rancho Laguna Park is authorized as an off leash dog run area:
April 1 to September 30: Park opening to 9:00 am and 6:00 pm to park closing.
October 1 to March 31 park opening to 9:00 am and 4:00 pm to park closing.
Moraga Commons Band Shell
Band Shell opens to a large hillside where ample seating is available on the lawn. The band shell is available for rent and comes with the reserved group picnic area. There is an enclosed wing which is used as a concession stand during the annual free Summer Concerts offered through the Parks and Recreation Department and funded by the Moraga Park Foundation. Call for availability.
